About Me

I’m Aparna Ajayan — a former architect turned yoga practitioner and trainer, and the heart of my work lies in Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga. My journey with yoga began over 13 years ago. What started as a personal practice gradually became my life’s calling. After years of training across movement arts, prenatal and postnatal yoga, functional anatomy, childbirth education, and now training to become a doula, I chose to dedicate myself fully to supporting women through motherhood.
I fell deeply in love with prenatal yoga during my own pregnancy. Experiencing the physical, emotional, and psychological shifts firsthand transformed the way I understand and teach yoga. For the past 6 years, I have been guiding women through pregnancy, birth preparation, and postnatal recovery.
I believe prenatal yoga is not just about staying active — it is about building trust in your body and preparing for birth with awareness. Postnatal yoga, to me, is gentle healing: restoring strength, reconnecting with the body, and nurturing the mother as she nurtures her baby. My intention is simple — to help women empower in their journeys to motherhood with the support of prenatal, postnatal yoga and by making evidence base information accessible as a birth educator.
