A semi qualified accountant with 13 years of accounting experience, Suma took a career break in 2013 to be with her now teenage daughter. She joined a midwifery centre in an admin capacity but birth fascinated her and thus began the journey to pursue the birth doula  and the Lamaze educator course to support women during pregnancy and birth .
